SharePoint Template - Document Workspace

This article describes the SharePoint 2010 document workspace… a SharePoint template intended “[…] for colleagues to work together on a document. It provides a document library for storing the primary document and supporting files, a tasks list for assigning to-do items, and a links list for resources related to the document.”

The only use for this template is in my opinion the collaboration of different people (not teams) on one or  more bigger documents…

People work over a longer time, tasks are assigned to them and discussions are made.
